Patricia Fernández, Ed.D., will present on behalf of MANA de San Diego, highlighting the impact and success of the Hermanitas and Tías programs. As a Leadership Member of the Tías Program and a former Hermanitas mentor, Dr. Fernández brings firsthand insight into how these mentorship initiatives are shining examples of how culturally responsive support can transform the future for young Latinas. Dr. Fernández serves as a Director in a public school district serving approximately 4,500 PK-8 students, where she oversees student attendance, safety, wellness, and overall well-being.
