Jerry Jimenez serves as the Public Information Officer for the Woodland Joint Unified School District (WJUSD), where he leads media relations and district-wide communications under the leadership of Superintendent Elodia Ortega-Lampkin.
A former journalist, Jerry brings a wealth of experience to his role, having served in communications leadership positions for nonprofit organizations and public agencies, including SEIU and the California Secretary of State’s Office.
He is also a former trustee of the Yolo County Board of Education and a proud veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy Reserves.
