About me
Rebecca Pianta is a passionate advocate for equity. With 20 years of experience in education, she spearheaded the Equity-Centered Professional Learning Series and led in the development of her Districts Cultural Proficiency Strategic Plan. As Coordinator of College and Career Readiness at Santa Ana Unified, she champions student-centered comprehensive school counseling programs, and civic engagement. Recognized for exemplary leadership, she has earned the 2024 ACSA Region 17 Student Services Administrator of the Year, and 2019
California School Counselor Advocate of the Year. She currently serves as the Vice President of Programs for ACSA Region 17.
