Dr. Ahmadi prioritizes access, equity and respect for diversity as values she holds close to her heart. She has always believed that we must do right by children; every single one of them! Her career began as a teacher in San Jose where she taught for ten years before moving to Fremont to teach and where she embarked on her administrative career in various capacities. She has loved every minute of the entire journey, including serving children the last ten years as Superintendent in Castro Valley. She previously served for 5 years as Superintendent in the Pleasanton Unified School District. Dr. Ahmadi is one of the most respected and decorated administrators in the state having served as President of the Association of California School Administrators.
