Dr. Inez Gonzalez-Perezchica is the Executive Director of MANA de San Diego. Dr. Inez González Perezchica serves as the Executive Director at MANA de San Diego (MANASD), where she is dedicated to empowering Latinas to achieve upward mobility and enhance their quality of life. In addition to her role at MANASD, Dr. González Perezchica is a leadership coach committed to helping leaders gain new perspectives and build a lasting impact.
Previously, Dr. González Perezchica founded the Cal State University Fullerton Latino Communications Institute, a pioneering program designed to prepare students for successful careers. Her extensive media experience was developed over a nine-year tenure at the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC), a key advocate for Latino media representation.
Dr. González Perezchica’s achievements include being a San Diego LEAD alumna, a fellow of Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) Leadership Training Institute, and a graduate of both the Women's Policy Institute at California's Women Foundation and the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI). Her career is characterized by a commitment to individual growth and inclusion, leveraging her experience as a community leader, educator, and coach to create environments where diverse talents can thrive and contribute to a more equitable society.
She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of San Diego, a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Cal State University Fullerton.
Dr. González Perezchica has been recognized throughout her career for her contributions. Awards include Girls Scouts San Diego Cool Women 2022 and the Social Mobility & Advancement Leader of the Year by Cause San Diego in 2023. She is a proud binational citizen, born and raised in the San Diego-Tijuana transborder region.
