Dr. Elizabeth Rodarte is a visionary educational leader with over 18 years of experience dedicated to equity, inclusion, and student empowerment. She began her career as a Parent Involvement Specialist championing the voices of underserved families. Growing up as a translator and advocate for her Spanish-speaking family shaped her mission to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps in education. Her passion for disrupting systemic barriers led her to roles as a special education teacher, Intervention Facilitator, and Assistant Principal. Motivated by the over-identification of special education students and high dropout rates among male students, she became an Elementary School Principal, implementing transformative strategies. Her leadership impact grew as Director of Special Education serving over 3,500 students across 28 schools. In 2023, she became Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Interventions for Riverbank Unified School District. Dr. Rodarte firmly believes education is a collective responsibility requiring community engagement. Empowering youth and families remains central to her vision for building resilient communities. She holds a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Spanish from the University of La Verne. Additionally, she earned two Master’s degrees in Special Education from California State University, Los Angeles. She completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation at Marymount University and is a proud alumna of the ALAS Superintendent Leadership Academy, Cohort XIV.
