Caroline M. Labonte is a dynamic and accomplished educational leader with a proven track record of success as an elementary, middle school, and high school principal. Her leadership journey has been defined by her commitment to fostering academic excellence, building positive school cultures, and ensuring students receive the best possible education at every stage of their learning.
Caroline’s impact was first felt as the principal of Sierra Lakes Elementary School, where she championed innovative instructional strategies and cultivated a nurturing environment that empowered young learners. Her leadership extended to Wayne Ruble Middle School, where she guided the school to receive the prestigious School to Watch designation in 2018, a testament to her dedication to student achievement and school-wide improvement. She then took on the challenge of leading Jurupa Hills High School, where she focused on climate, culture and college and career readiness, inspiring students to reach their highest potential.
Beyond her roles as principal, Caroline has served in key leadership positions, including Executive Director of Certificated Human Resources and currently as Associate Superintendent of Teaching and Learning for Fontana Unified School District. She holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from California State University, San Bernardino, a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Eastern Washington University, and an Associate Degree in Arts and Science from Columbia Basin College.
