Camille Medrano serves as Senior Associate of Educator Engagement with EdTrust-West. She found purpose in working toward educational justice and opportunity for all students from her experiences navigating the education system in direct service roles across education, and through graduate studies in education policy. In grad school, many of her projects focused on closing opportunity gaps in college access for students of color. Camille leads the Community of Practice for Equitable Placement with college teams from across the state and is a content expert on dual enrollment. She also has facilitated our Systemic Equity Reviews and Blueprint Planning processes. She is a proud first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in English and Communication from UC Davis and an M.Ed. in Education Policy from the University of Washington.
